AI Engineer

Summary:

We are seeking an AI Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an AI Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing machine learning algorithms, data models, and AI systems to address key challenges and drive the business forward. You will work directly with cross-functional teams to create scalable and effective AI solutions, from model development to deployment, that are user-friendly and deliver real business value.

We enable small and publicly traded businesses to scale by providing global outsourcing talent services across client service, back-office operations, data, technology, and other areas. 

Responsibilities:

• Tool Development: Design and develop AI-driven tools or applications, utilizing machine learning and deep learning techniques to create impactful, functional software.
• Model Design & Optimization: Build and optimize models tailored to the specific needs of the tool. You may work on tasks such as natural language processing (NLP), image recognition, recommendation systems, or predictive analytics, depending on the project.
• Integration & Testing: Work closely with software developers to integrate AI models into the tool’s architecture and ensure smooth deployment. Collaborate with QA teams to test AI performance and ensure product robustness.
• Data Processing: Prepare and preprocess data for model training, including feature engineering, data cleaning, and creating data pipelines.
• User-Centric Development: Focus on creating AI tools that are intuitive and scalable for end-users, collaborating with UX/UI designers to ensure seamless integration of AI features in the product.
• Continuous Improvement: Iterate on the tool based on user feedback, performance metrics, and evolving industry trends. Focus on improving both model accuracy and the overall user experience.
• Collaboration: Work alongside data scientists, product managers, and software engineers to build the AI tool, align on requirements, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain documentation for the development process, including code comments, model explanations, and performance reports, ensuring transparency and reproducibility.

Required Qualification:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or a related field.
• Technical Expertise:
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
• Hands-on experience with machine learning libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, or Keras.
• Solid understanding of AI algorithms, including supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, and reinforcement learning.
• Tool Development Experience: Experience building and deploying AI tools or software, from prototyping to production.
• Cloud & Infrastructure Knowledge: Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) for model deployment.
• Data Handling: Strong background in handling large datasets, data wrangling, and working with data pipelines.
• Version Control: Experience using Git or other version control systems for collaborative development.

Preferred Qualification:

• Specialization: Familiarity with specialized AI subfields relevant to the tool, such as Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision, or Time Series Analysis.
• AI Tool Deployment: Experience deploying AI tools to production environments and ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
• MLOps: Knowledge of MLOps practices, including automated pipelines, CI/CD for machine learning, and model versioning.
• UI/UX Understanding: Experience working closely with designers to ensure AI tools are intuitive and provide a positive user experience.
• Agile Methodology: Experience working in an Agile development environment, delivering incremental improvements with frequent releases.
