The Companial Engineering team is touching on the latest Microsoft technologies (Visual Studio Code AL language, Copilot, Extensions, PowerPlatform), being one of very few Microsoft ISV Development Centers we have direct consulting with Microsoft and receive the latest news and training on new technologies even prior other Microsoft Partners.
Companial is looking for an AI Engineer for Business Applications to join a large SMB R&D team in Vilnius, Kaunas or remotely.

What you are going to do:
- Develop and deploy generative AI models, chatbots and Copilot solutions using Azure AI services and other Microsoft offerings (e.g. Copilot Studio)
- Participate in AI development projects: internally at Companial to develop AI-powered tools and externally for Microsoft Partners and their Business Applications (D365)
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate the developed solutions seamlessly into the project and other business solutions’ environments
- Support Microsoft Partners in designing, developing, deploying and maintaining AI solutions
- Evaluate and integrate AI tools, libraries, and platforms to accelerate development process
- Contribute to knowledge sharing sessions for other engineering teams and company
What we expect from you:
- Practical experience in developing, deploying and scaling ML/AI applications in a business environment
- Have a quantitative degree such as mathematics, statistics, machine learning, computer science or equivalent, though the relevant working experience is also acceptable
- Some knowledge with key Microsoft and Azure AI services, frameworks, and libraries such as Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, Semantic Kernel, Scikit-Learn, etc.
- Proficiency with Python or .NET, while specialization in ML/AI and data processing would be considered as a plus
- Eager to learn and develop technical skills, practically try out new technologies – also happy to share knowledge with others
- Good spoken and written English
- Ability to own projects and develop solutions from start to finish
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Ability to independently identify when you are stuck and seek support
What would make you stand out?
- Proficiency with Microsoft and Azure AI & Data services, frameworks and libraries
- Ability to evaluate and benchmark AI / ML models and solutions before developing
- Certifications in AI-900 or AI-102 or similar
- Some knowledge or experience with Microsoft business applications (Business Central, D365) or Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents (Copilot Studio)
