Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative AI / Data Scientist with deep expertise in Generative AI (GenAI). This role is ideal for individuals who have hands-on experience designing and deploying solutions using techniques such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), embeddings, vector databases, and semantic search. You will work closely with a talented team of engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to create transformative AI-driven solutions that redefine user and data interactions.
Key Responsibilities:• Leverage state-of-the-art GenAI models and frameworks to develop intelligent solutions for document summarization, knowledge retrieval, content generation, and transforming content from PDFs into usable formats.• Utilize techniques such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and embedding pipelines to process and represent both structured and unstructured data, enabling efficient semantic search and context-aware responses.• Evaluate and select pre-trained models and extend their capabilities to fit business needs.• Develop and manage vector databases for efficient similarity search and retrieval tasks.• Fine-tune foundation models (LLMs) for domain-specific applications.• Work with multi-modal data (text, images, structured data) to support enriched GenAI experiences.• Continuously monitor model performance and improve accuracy, latency, and robustness.• Research and prototype new GenAI methodologies to maintain technological leadership and keep pace with evolving industry trends.
Qualifications:• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.• 5+ years of experience in data science and machine learning, with a strong emphasis on LLMs, Generative AI, RAG, embeddings, and vector similarity techniques.• Demonstrated expertise in building and deploying AI/ML solutions using modern frameworks and tools.• Proficient in Python and SQL, with experience in relevant libraries and ecosystems.• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Databricks for scalable model development and deployment.• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a deep understanding of complex data workflows and systems.• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Compensation/Benefits Information:
Accuris states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $135,000 to $175,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual's geographical location as well as experience and qualifications for the role. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan as well as comprehensive benefits.
