In this role, you will:

Report to the Sr. Director, DTS R&D, Quality, Safety & Sustainability in the Kimberly-Clark DTS organization. Role will not have any direct reports. Key Interfaces: Agriculture team members, Solution Architects, Data Engineers, DBAs, R&D scientists, other DTS teams, and Scrum Master. External Interfaces: Consultants and software vendors. Travel may include approximately 10-20% of work time.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Design, configure, and maintain digital agronomy and other agriculture management software applications.
  • Ensure agriculture IT applications are thoroughly tested.
  • Utilize APIs for data integration between agriculture applications and other Kimberly-Clark applications such as SAP S/4 ERP, Snowflake data lake, and other applications as needed.
  • Implement agriculture data and technologies to optimize and improve farming efficiency and crop yield.
  • Provide training and technical support to farmers, researchers, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage communications and requirements from different stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment on project goals and timelines.
  • Keep abreast of the latest trends and advancements with Agriculture technology.  Experiment with new agricultural technologies to determine business value.
  • Enhance and provide advanced technical support as needed for agriculture applications.
  • Partner with business clients to identify and prioritize enhancements and technology roadmaps.

Key Qualifications and Experiences:

  • B.A. or B.S. in Information Technology, Agriculture IT, or related field.
  • 3+ years of agronomy/agriculture IT experience with a focus on application setup and launch.
  • Previous experience and expertise with FieldAlytics software is a plus.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, relational databases, and SQL.
  • Experience using RESTful web services and REST APIs.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and partnership skills.
  • Experience with IT architecture with focus on reusability and automation
  • Ability to coordinate with all levels of the firm to design and deliver technical solutions to business problems
  • Ability to influence without authority. Strong virtual meeting facilitation abilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong understanding of agricultural practices, crop physiology, soil science, and pest management.
  • Awareness of current trends in precision agriculture and sustainable farming.
  • Experience with PowerBI or other analytics/visualization tools.

Salary Range: $ 105,750 - $130,650 USD

At Kimberly-Clark, pay is just one aspect of our total rewards package, which also includes a variety of benefits and opportunities to achieve, thrive and grow. Along with base pay, this position offers eligibility for a target bonus and a comprehensive benefits suite, including our 401(k) and Profit-Sharing plan. The anticipated base pay range for this role is provided above for a fully qualified hire. Actual pay will depend on several factors, such as location, role, skills, performance, and experience. Please note that the stated pay range applies to US locations only.

This role is available for local candidates already authorized to work in the role’s country only. Kimberly-Clark will not provide relocation support for this role.
