Role Value Proposition:
The Agile Enablement Central Operations (AE Central Ops) team sits within MetLife and is responsible for driving Agile enablement initiatives across the enterprise. The team focuses on operational execution, enhancing team collaboration, and ensuring the smooth implementation of agile frameworks and governance structures.
The Agile Enablement Operations Associate is responsible for executing key enablement initiatives, coordinating cross-functional engagement, and ensuring agility best practices are effectively applied at scale across the global enterprise. This is an exciting opportunity to play a hands-on role in driving agile enablement initiatives, supporting operational execution, enhancing team collaboration, and ensuring the smooth implementation of agile frameworks and governance structures across MetLife. Success in this role requires a strong execution mindset, mid-level energy for generating original ideas and possibilities, and high-level energy for delivering tangible outcomes. The Agile Enablement Operations Associate is responsible for operationalizing agile enablement initiatives and supporting data collection, reporting, and visualization. You'll collaborate closely with Agile Enablement client engagement teams in an environment where every contribution is respected, and every perspective is heard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute and operationalize agile enablement initiatives, ensuring frameworks, governance models, and toolkits are effectively implemented.
- Support data collection, reporting, and visualization, providing insights on agility maturity, flow metrics, and adoption trends to help teams optimize performance.
- Refine and maintain enablement playbooks, toolkits, and best practices to ensure consistent and scalable agility adoption across the enterprise.
- Act as a key engagement partner, collaborating with teams to facilitate knowledge sharing, feedback loops, and alignment on agile best practices.
- Identify opportunities for improvement by analyzing adoption trends, refining agile enablement approaches, and providing recommendations for process optimization.
- Work cross-functionally with Agile Enablement client engagement teams to support governance structures, agility insights, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Leverage agile work management tools (Azure DevOps) to enhance efficiency and reporting capabilities.
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Required:
- 3-5 years of experience in agile software delivery, DevOps, or Agile Release Trains (ARTs).
- Hands-on experience in agile work management tools (Azure DevOps).
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills with a bias for action.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, execution-driven environment.
- Experience with data visualization, reporting, and agility analytics to drive improvements.
- Familiarity with agile governance structures, flow metrics, and enablement frameworks.
- Smart, hungry, and humble with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Experience as a Scrum Master to facilitate Global AE-sponsored Communities of Practices/events.
Preferred:
- Exposure to scaled agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, Scrum@Scale).
- Knowledge of cloud, CI/CD, or DevOps principles.
- Certification in Scrum, SAFe, or Agile methodologies (SPC certification is a plus).
- Experience with agile work management tools (Target Process, ServiceNow).
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Power BI).
- AI prompt engineering.
