Summary: 

The Agency Bill Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the agency bill accounting processes within the Property & Casualty vertical, from administering and tracking client receivables to remitting carrier premium payments, for all agencies within the Applied Epic system. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Assist with the accounts receivable process for all clients across all agencies 

  • Enter client payments into Applied Epic (lockbox, online payments, ACH/wires, finance company) to the appropriate client policy based on the remittance. This includes communication with agencies when payments amounts do not match up. 

  • Assist with bank deposits when necessary, including using the bank’s remote scanner 

  • Assist with the accounts payable process for all carriers and brokers across all agencies by preparing payment reconciliation within Applied Epic. 

  • Track client receivable accounts to ensure timely collection of premium payments and payments to carriers and brokers.

  • Strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality 

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment 

  • Ability to work effectively across multiple internal functional groups 

  • Ability to make accurate, independent decisions based on data provided 

 

Education, Training and Experience: 

  • Experience in property and casualty insurance brokerage operations preferable 

  • Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel 

 

The typical base pay for this role nationwide is $28.50 per hour 

Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance. We also offer eligible employees health, wellbeing, retirement, and other financial benefits, paid time off, overtime pay for non-exempt employees, and robust learning and development programs.
