The Opportunity
The Agency Account Manager serves as a strategic partner to agency sales teams, leading end-to-end digital campaign execution from initial design through final performance analysis. This role blends data-driven planning with hands-on coordination across internal teams and external vendors to ensure campaigns meet business objectives. With a strong focus on client relationships, process improvement, and operational excellence, the AAM is key in driving revenue growth and campaign success. Lead the development of data-informed digital campaign strategies that align with agency sales team goals by balancing historical insights, budget constraints, and best practices to drive campaign success and client satisfaction.

Collaborate with Sales to finalize campaign design, collect all creative and trafficking assets, and ensure campaigns launch on schedule with clear alignment on objectives and timelines.

Serve as the day-to-day liaison for agency sales and client teams, maintaining proactive communication throughout campaign execution to deliver transparency and resolve potential misalignment on KPIs.

Partner with Ad Ops and Analytics to coordinate campaign set-up, monitor in-flight performance, and optimize delivery for cost efficiency, viewability, and third-party measurement standards.

Manage campaign measurement by collaborating with analytics to define success metrics and deliver post-campaign performance reports that support sales efforts and build client trust.

Anticipate and resolve operational or system-related issues by engaging internal teams and external vendors, ensuring campaign continuity and SLA adherence across all stages.

Drive process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies in campaign execution and proposing workflow enhancements that reduce friction and increase speed-to-launch.

Mentor and support onboarding of new team members by sharing operational expertise and providing training on Catalina’s processes, tools, and campaign management methodologies.

Take ownership of revenue tracking by managing billing workflows, validating delivery against expectations, and maintaining accurate monthly and quarterly forecasting in Salesforce.

Support agency growth by identifying opportunities for campaign expansion or upsell, and communicating those with the sales team to pursue additional value creation.

Elevate internal collaboration by proactively surfacing blockers, initiating solutions, and facilitating communication among cross-functional teams to keep campaign milestones on track.

Maintain high-quality client relationships by consistently delivering campaigns that meet or exceed performance targets, securing repeat business and positive feedback from agency partners.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, business, or a related field.

3 to 5 years of experience in digital advertising, campaign management, or client-facing account roles within a media, agency, or ad tech environment.

Proven ability to develop campaign strategies grounded in data analysis, client goals, and performance insights.

Demonstrated experience coordinating cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Ad Ops, Analytics) to manage campaign execution and delivery timelines.

Strong client relationship management skills, including the ability to communicate proactively, manage expectations, and navigate shifting priorities.

Hands-on experience with media buying platforms, ad servers, and third-party measurement tools; knowledge of programmatic or RTB a plus.

Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint to build campaign reports, analyze performance, and present outcomes to stakeholders.

Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems to manage billing workflows and revenue forecasting.

Proven track record of identifying and implementing process improvements that streamline operations and reduce campaign launch times.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced or ambiguous environments.

Demonstrated capacity to mentor, train, or onboard teammates, sharing expertise in tools, workflows, and campaign best practices.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative mindset and the ability to translate technical details into actionable insights for diverse audiences.
