The Advisor, Customer Intelligence & Operations (Business Architect) is responsible for design business processes focus on digital experience to improve customer experience, product adoption, and improve competitive position. Position will be working hybrid based in San Juan, PR.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understand complex processes and systems in depth to define and document the new features or product increments following customer centric approach.
- Work with agile teams to iterate and build; focus on defining EPICS (high level requirements) & user stories with acceptance criteria to maintain a healthy product backlog and defining priorities based on roadmap.
- Lead grooming meetings and provide guidance, support, and expertise to development and testing team when needed to ensure proper implementation and sustainability.
- Work with Marketing, Compliance and Risk for approval on features
- Conduct analysis to determine best path for solving business challenges, threats, limitations and opportunities for improvement using data analytics, as well as customer feedback and pain points.
- Manage discussions in partnership with Solution Architects, PO, UX and adoption leads.
- Evaluate project impacts and escalate issues and risk properly.
- Other duties may be assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in business, computer engineering, industrial engineering, or similar field required.
- 3+ year(s) of digital business architecture, user story design experience required. Banking industry experience preferred.
- Minimum education and experience required can be substituted with the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Knowledge of banking operational processes, products and services highly desirable.
- Familiarity with the Software Delivery Lifecycle required.
- Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and approach complex challenges with a strategic attitude.
- Learning agility that enables a broad, enterprise-wide knowledge of software programs & automation options enabling systematically streamlined solutions.
- Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated project management, AGILE methodology & strong data management skills.
- Excellent communication skills in both Spanish and English with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts and strategies to diverse audiences.
