Job Description Summary:
The Strategy Advisor is responsible for creating and integrating strategic initiatives, developing business insights, as well as identifying growth opportunities for OhioHealth. This role works closely with OhioHealth senior leadership to provide analysis, insights and innovative solutions across the organization. The Advisor will focus on some of the most pressing strategic issues that OhioHealth faces and will be a key member in determining the organization’s future across one or more of the following areas: transitioning to a value based environment, developing an optimized care network, and consumerism. The Strategy team has an established track record of significant impact at OhioHealth and serves as feeder for top talent throughout the organization.
Responsibilities And Duties:
Develops and helps operationalize strategic plans related to growth, strategic intelligence, network development, joint ventures, acquisitions and business model transformation. Conducts competitor/market research and transforms this into actionable analysis to support strategic and tactical initiatives. Makes recommendations that proactively drive informed business decisions to positively impact market share and profitability. Develops a deep understanding of the market through primary and secondary research and shapes this research into a story that informs a strategy vision. Analyzes problems and develops well-reasoned solutions; creates and validates assumptions; correlates data to drive findings that lead to actionable insights. Works closely with the business units to develop goals, timelines and implementation plans. Builds relationships with senior leadership and serves as a thought partner and information resource.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's Degree: Business Administration/Marketing (Required)
Additional Job Description:
MBA, MHA or other relevant advanced degree
• Strong ability to structure a problem, identify key questions, and propose a pathway to addressing those questions with robust analytical support
• High level of intellectual curiosity
• Comfortable working with ambiguity and incomplete data
• Ability to take data and package into a story to inform and drive leadership decision-making
• Exhibits tenacity and a solution-focused mindset

• Consultative, influential, and a proven track record of ability to get things done
• Demonstrated project management experience
• Experience developing analytical models, feasibility studies, marketing strategies and/or financial forecasts.
• Able to articulate complex issues and strategies
• Ability to communicate complex analysis in a clear, precise and actionable manner, verbally, graphically and in writing
• Understands how to successfully navigate and succeed within complex, matrixed organizations
• Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to understand competitive landscape and anticipate competitive responses to OhioHealth strategies
