Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Advertising Consulting Senior Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in defining and developing efficient and streamlined digital advertising product taxonomies, ad network hierarchies, and overseeing all necessary ad technology configurations across multiple platforms.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of digital advertising ecosystems, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of optimizing digital ad campaigns. It is also preferred that the candidate has a deep understanding of industry-leading tools such as OMS platforms such as Operative, Boostr, Placements.io and Ad Servers such as Freewheel and Google Ad Manager (GAM). The candidate should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with excellent communication and client-facing abilities.
This position will be full-time. The annual base salary is $150,000 -180,000. Candidates will be paid within this range based on their work experience and skills. Candidates are also eligible for our full list of benefits linked here.
- Taxonomy Development: Define and refine digital advertising product taxonomies to enhance clarity and efficiency.
- Ad Network Hierarchies: Develop and maintain ad network hierarchies that optimize campaign delivery and performance. Implement strategies to maximize revenue and reach across various ad networks.
- Ad Technology Configuration: Configure and maintain ad technology platforms, ensuring seamless integration and optimal functionality. Collaborate with technology teams to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to ad delivery and tracking.
- Platform Expertise: Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in ad technology platforms and industry trends. Provide insights and recommendations for the adoption of new technologies to enhance advertising capabilities.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, and creative teams to understand client needs and translate them into effective advertising solutions. Collaborate with data analytics teams to derive insights and inform optimization strategies.
- Inventory Management Analysis: Conduct thorough analyses of digital advertising campaigns to measure inventory capacity, and availability and improve performance. Provide regular reports and recommendations to internal stakeholders based on key performance indicators.
- Technical Expertise: Stay abreast of the latest developments in digital advertising technology, particularly within CRM, OMS, and Ad Server domains. Provide thought leadership on industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and technical teams, to deliver integrated solutions that align with clients' business objectives.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Technology, Business, Marketing) is preferred.
- Years of Experience: 10+ Years of Experience: Proven experience in media ad technology operations and/or consulting with a focus on digital advertising platforms, including a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience.
- OMS Proficiency: Strong expertise in developing digital ad product taxonomies within Order Management Systems, with experience in Boostr, Operative, Placements.io, or similar platforms.
- Ad Server Experience: Experience with Ad Servers such as Freewheel and Google Ad Manager, including developing ad network hierarchies.
- Integration Skills: Demonstrated experience in developing and managing integrations between CRM, OMS, and Ad Servers to ensure seamless data flow and campaign execution.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Client-Facing Skills: Proven experience in client-facing roles, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Proven experience in Ad Tech with a specialized focus on Yield Optimization, Monetization, and Product Taxonomy.
