What you’ll do
- Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of Adobe Commerce projects, ensuring scalability, security, and optimal user experience.
- Contribute to requirements gathering in collaboration with Client stakeholders, Commerce Leads, and Business Analysts.
- Establish and maintain relationships with clients' technical staff.
- Architect and develop dynamic web applications using Adobe Commerce, including creating technical design documentation.
- Manage engineering and project delivery.
- Maintain and enhance existing Adobe Commerce websites, adhering to best practices.
- Enforce proper coding techniques, conduct code reviews, and mentor developers.
- Identify and manage project risks.
- Actively identify and manage risk on projects
Who you are
You should have serious Engineering and Architecture chops and love leading web projects, mentoring engineers, and exploring the state-of-the-art of technology. We’re looking for someone who is well versed in eCommerce platforms, and knows the difference between
- 5+ years of hands-on experience implementing Adobe Commerce eCommerce projects. Nice to haves: experience with Commerce Cloud implementations
- Adobe Commerce certification is preferred
- Adobe Commerce integration experience and extension development, including Adobe Commerce REST APIs and OAuth based authentication.
- 5+ years of Full LAMP stack experience
- Strong SQL schema design experience
- HTML/CSS/JavaScript and at least one frontend framework (e.g. React, Vue, Angular)
- Experience with secure coding practices including best practices with Adobe Commerce/PHP, web services, and commerce specific implementation patterns.
- Experience with DevOps pipelines and tools (Git, Jenkins, TeamCity, Docker, Chef) and one or more cloud infrastructure providers (AWS, Azure, GCP, OpenStack)
- 6+ years of professional software/web development experience
- Experience as a Tech Lead for projects, including estimation, scoping, managing project engineering team, client management, and successful delivery
- Demonstrable experience managing a team of Engineers
- Experience working within a collaborative, cross-functional agency environment, particularly with QA analysts, UX and Visual designers, strategy, and business analysts
- Experience participating in client management activities including business development, scoping, and managing development sprint activities
- Experience crafting, implementing, and supporting private, public, or hybrid clouds and associated management tools
- Degree in Computer Science, or other relevant experience
