About This Position

ChristianaCare's Strategy and Planning Department is searching for a Project Coordinator to collaborate with team members to help deliver work efficiently. This position is primarily responsible for managing project-related tasks, supporting presentation development, data support, and the administrative tasks, such as meetings, complex scheduling, and communication support. This role provides opportunities to oversee small aspects of strategic planning initiatives and assist in critical phases on large projects.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with various members of the strategy and planning team to support development of strategic initiatives and business plans, including developing timelines, scheduling meetings, and managing progress to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Partner with leadership, team members, and other project teams to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives.
  • Attend meetings, in-person and virtual, with strategy and planning team for assigned strategic initiatives.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports.
  • Monitor project progress and KPIs to ensure expected outcomes are achieved, identify opportunities for improvement and address any issues that arise.
  • Lead lessons learned and provide recommendations to improve future project delivery.
  • Responsible for supporting development of, and maintaining, information to be communicated for project updates; including assessing audience and determining appropriate level of information to be communicated.
  • Provide ongoing support for joint strategic initiative in collaboration with the President, Curascend:
  • Coordinate meeting logistics and scheduling, including on-site support as needed, for the Curascend core team.
  • Manage the Curascend Microsoft Teams site, including coordination between Highmark and Christiana resources.
  • Liaise with executive assistants and other coordinators from Highmark and ChristianaCare to actively solution calendaring and logistical conflicts.
  • Document and follow-up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
  • Complete project tasks as required.
  • Provide administrative support as needed.

Education and experience requirements:

  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Teams
  • Associates or Bachelors degree preferred
  • 3 – 7 years of experience
  • High School diploma with at least 15 years of experience may be considered in lieu of higher degree
  • An ability to prepare and interpret reports, flowcharts, schedules, step-by-step action plans, PowerPoint presentations, and data in Excel.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
