Administrative PCT Requirements:

  • High School diploma, general education development (“GED”) credential, or equivalent

  • CCHT Active and in good standing

  • 1 year in a related administrative position in a medical setting

  • Personable individual with excellent computer and clerical skills (Microsoft Office) and minimum 60 wpm typing speed

  • Ability to work independently and manage a busy desk while interacting with patients

  • Ability to travel to multiple clinics as needed within a 10 mile radius

Administrative PCT Role:

  • Administrative Operations Support. Ensure timely and accurate completion of change requisitions, treatment logs, patient charts, invoices, and purchase orders. Assist patients with transportation arrangements and physician appointments.

  • Direct Patient Care. Spend the majority of your day in direct one-on-one patient care to provide safe, comfortable, and hygienic dialysis treatment within groups of up to 4 patients. Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, including measuring and recording stats, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup

  • Community. Building long-term relationships with your patients who are suffering from end-stage renal disease and are receiving treatment on average 3 times/week. You will also be responsible for educating patients on Kidney dialysis-related topics. Cross functional team of clinicians including technicians, nurses, dietitians, social workers, and leadership. PCTs work under the supervision of an RN.
