Position: Administrative Assistant
Location: Dekalb, IL
Wage: $21.25/hr

The following job description outlines the essential functions of the role within the department.  The following lists are not exhaustive, and the employee in each of these roles is expected to assume any and all duties assigned by management irrespective of whether such duties are specifically included in the following. 

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Ability to maintain and file employee records as well as confidential information that follows HIPAA guidelines.
• Assist with updating communication boards throughout the facility with latest HR announcements
• Collecting and tracking participation metrics
• Assist with employee recognition and engagement.
• Coordinate employee recruitment and onboarding
• Assist with issuing visitor/employee badges
• Provides a strong candidate experience for plant employees, coordinates any assessment testing, onsite drug screens and assistance with offer acceptance and background application.
• Tracks time off for vacation, disability, and leaves of absence
• Communicates promptly to Payroll about any change in Personnel status and reviews payroll accuracy for employees and temporary associates
• Safety system entry and upkeep.
• Coordination and facilitation of safety teams
