GG Advisors is a Kansas City area professional services firm located in Leawood, Kansas. We provide advisory services, including tax, accounting, part-time CFO, and business formation services. At GG Advisors, we are willing to help you continuously improve on various aspects of your career. The Role

We are looking for a full-time Administrative Assistant who possesses strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work effectively with a diverse team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to contribute to an expanding firm and help shape a positive and efficient work environment!
As a key member of our administrative team, you’ll be the first point of contact for visitors and clients, support daily office operations, and help keep our workplace running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Reception & Client Communication
- Greet visitors and answer calls/emails with professionalism and warmth.
- Support client and staff needs with prompt, courteous assistance.
- Maintain a clean, welcoming reception area.
Daily Office Operations
- Open and close the office (doors, elevator, equipment checks).
- Manage office supplies and equipment to ensure everything is stocked and functioning.
- Distribute incoming mail and coordinate outgoing mail, including postage machine upkeep.
Administrative Support
- Assist leadership and staff with general admin tasks and special requests.
- Monitor shared inbox and collaborate with the admin team on task distribution.
- Scan and organize documents for digital storage and accurate record-keeping.
Document Management
- Receive, organize, and manage client documents (tax forms, engagement letters, etc.).
- Maintain and update digital filing systems using Go File Room and SurePrep.
- Help locate and retrieve client records efficiently.
Team Support & Communication
- Work closely with the office manager and admin team to ensure daily operations run smoothly.
- Promote a positive, team-focused work environment through collaboration and communication.
New Hire Onboarding
- Welcome new team members and provide office tours.
- Show basics such as how to use the copier, scanner, and where to find supplies.
Event & Office Coordination
- Assist with planning office events, team meetings, and special gatherings.
- Help coordinate logistics for meals, activities, and celebrations.
Other Duties as Needed
- Take on additional responsibilities as they arise, ensuring high-quality and timely completion.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Degree
- Experience: 1 year of experience in an administrative or similar business role.
- Skills: Highly organized with attention to detail; strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Outlook, and other office software; quick to learn new systems and tools.
- Team Player: Collaborative, with a positive attitude and a willingness to help others.
- Proactive: Independent and able to take initiative while maintaining professionalism and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Hours: Available to work extended hours during our busy tax season (January 1 - April 15), with overtime paid at 1.5x for hours exceeding 40 per week.
- During the off-season, our administrative team works 36 hours per week, with Fridays off.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within a CPA or professional services environment
