Job Responsibilities:
The Intern will be supporting for installation, calibration, and troubleshooting of autonomous driving (AD) systems on various platforms. The task of the position will include but not be limited to (1) installing AD sensors in the platforms, (2) performing system calibrations to ensure accurate functionality, (3) conducting diagnostic tests to identify and resolve issues with the system.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain AD systems in the platforms according to engineering guidelines.
• Conduct system diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on AD components.

• Perform calibration and testing of AD sensors, and other autonomous driving hardware.

• Perform other duties as required

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate student in Engineering including but not limited to Mechanical, Electrical, and Robotics

Education / Experience

• Undergraduate student in Engineering including but not limited to Mechanical, Electrical, and Robotics

Special Knowledge / Skills:

• Basic knowledge of ADAS/AD systems
• Experience in automotive development tools and diagnostic tools
• Driver's license in Michigan

Physical Demands / Work Environment:

• While performing the duties of this job, the intern is occasionally required to drive vehicles. The intern is required to hold a valid driver's license and to maintain physical and mental conditions defined by the regulations for driving.
• Normal amount of sitting or standing, average mobility to move around an office environment, able to conduct normal amount of work at a computer. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
