Job Description
In this role, you will be part of the CGHB Europe Underwriting / Actuarial team based in Glasgow. You will bring analytical capabilities to the team by optimizing the current processes and developing analytical solutions to support the decision-making process requiring the development of a detailed understanding of KPI’s and specificities of both international and domestic businesses.
Main Duties / Responsibilities
- Underwriting & Actuarial processes - optimization & efficiencies
- Risk appetite on Underwriting & Actuarial
- Design and implement new data analysis solutions on Alteryx, Visual Basic and Business Objects.
- Oversee the deployment of data to the data warehouse and propose enhancements (at department and organization level)
- Manage specific underwriting requests in terms of data (drill-down)
Scope and Dimensions
Report to Underwriting / Actuarial Manager. Includes a knowledge and understanding of all aspects of the business. Requires co-ordination and integration with every department including:
