Verde Outdoor Media is looking for an AR Specialist to join our team in Tempe, Arizona!

Job Summary: The Accounts Receivables Specialist is responsible for managing the company’s accounts receivable process. This includes monitoring incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage accounts receivable aging reports to ensure timely collection of outstanding balances.

  • Process and record incoming payments, including checks, credit card transactions, and electronic transfers.

  • Reconcile accounts receivable discrepancies by working with customers and internal teams.

  • Collaborate with sales team to resolve billing inquiries and disputes.

  • Maintain accurate customer records in the accounting system.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritize/re-prioritize multiple projects and/or deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain detailed records.

Education and Experience:

  • Preferred: Associate’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience will also be considered (1-2 years) or relevant internship experience.
  • Proficient in 10 key by touch.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office with basic Excel skills.
