Where and how you can work
Our flagship campus is in Sydney, Australia, but with many of our Canvanauts calling the Philippines home, our office in Manila is a buzzing place. Whether your role needs you in the office, at home or a bit of both, we've created an environment that truly empowers you to thrive.
This is a full-time night shift role, aligned with US hours (CST), as you'll be collaborating closely with our international teams.
What you'd be doing in this role
As Canva scales, change continues to be part of our DNA-but we like to think that's all part of the fun. So, this will give you a flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.
At the moment, this role is focused on:
- Leading and mentoring a Philippines-based team of revenue operations specialists, fostering a high-performing, collaborative culture.
- Managing key Accounts Receivable functions, including invoicing, collections, and cash application, ensuring a seamless Quote-to-Cash (QTC) experience.
- Overseeing month-end close activities with a focus on internal controls and financial accuracy.
- Supporting the rollout of new automation and billing system implementations, including the Zuora billing system.
- Working closely with the US Revenue Operations Lead to drive process improvements and enhance efficiency.
- Ensuring timely responses to sales team and customer requests through the internal ticketing system.
- Provide real-time support and collaboration with US-based teams, ensuring seamless revenue operations across different time zones
You're probably a match if you
- Relevant experience in finance, accounting or business administration. CPA experience is a plus!
- Bring 5+ years of experience in Quote-to-Cash or a similar finance role, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Have 3+ years of leadership experience, with a proven track record of managing high-performing teams.
- Understand subscription billing, cash application, and collections strategies, particularly in an enterprise environment.
- Have experience with public company internal controls, including design, implementation, and execution.
- Are skilled in project management, system implementation, and process optimization.
- Communicate effectively and collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams.
- Have experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
- Are open to working night shifts Tuesday - Saturday (11:00 pm - 8:00 am PH time) to support our global operations.
