Responsibilities

Effective and efficient credit control and cash collection
-
Dealing with customer account queries and direct contact with the customers and the Sales Managers to ensure the prompt processing of such queries
-
Allocation of cash receipts
-
Reconciliation of bank accounts
-
Reconciliation of customer accounts
-
Setting up new customer accounts
-
Support Senior AR Specialist and AR Manager when required
-
Perform Month End and Quarter End Reporting Tasks
-
Perform other related duties as directed
-
Adherence at all times to documented procedures and compliance with audit requirements
-
Project work to improve efficiencies on various systems.
You have
-
Minimum 2 years’ experience in Credit Control or Accounts Receivable preferably in a multinational environment
-
Ability to operate with a minimum of supervision and the ability to solve problems with a minimum of guidance
-
Sound commercial education/background
-
Ability to develop and maintain a cordial and mutually beneficial relationship with Customers and the Sales Offices
-
Proficiency in excel for example v-lookup and pivot tables
-
The ability to read and understand financial statements
