Accounts Receivable (A/R) Specialist

About the Role
We are looking for an Accounts Receivable (A/R) Specialist to join our finance team. In this role, you will handle daily A/R activities, process invoices, reconcile bank transactions, and ensure accurate customer payments. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate with internal teams and external vendors.
Key Responsibilities
Bank & Payment Processing
- Monitor and report bank balances and transactions weekly.
- Process ACH payments, vendor bank pulls, and wire transfers.
- Reconcile cash balances and update financial spreadsheets.
- Match bank data to NetSuite transactions and verify payment details.
Accounts Receivable & Invoicing
- Process and send invoices through NetSuite (NS) and OpenInvoice.
- Ensure invoice accuracy (pricing, quantities, addresses, etc.).
- Issue customer credit memos and assist with credit references.
Inventory & Sales Order Management
- Maintain and update warehouse inventory records weekly.
- Assist with entering sales orders into NetSuite as needed.
Financial Analysis
- Update financial models and run variance analyses.
- Support leadership with cash flow forecasting.
What We’re Looking For
Experience: 2+ years in accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or a similar financial role.
Education: Associates degree in accounting/finance preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in NetSuite (or similar ERP), Microsoft Excel, and financial reporting tools.
Attention to Detail: Ability to manage high transaction volumes with accuracy.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for vendor and customer interactions.
Problem-Solving: Ability to identify discrepancies and resolve billing/payment issues efficiently.
