The Accounts Receivable Intern will be responsible for learning and assisting with daily tasks, procedures and provide general support to the Accounts Receivable (A/R) Department. The internship can run fall, spring or summer and hours may be full time or part time, contingent on the student’s schedule.
Responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable Intern include, but are not limited to:
• Perform clerical duties, maintain files including scanning and organize documents
• Send customer invoices and additional backup documentation as requested
• Assist in setting up department meetings or training sessions including documenting meeting notes and follow up tasks
• Shadow multiple A/R Department roles and train on a variety of tasks
• Assist with compiling bankruptcy claim files and pulling backup documentation for audit requests
• Manage special projects as needed
• Other duties and tasks as assigned by management team
Qualifications of the Accounts Receivable Intern include, but are not limited to:
• Basic Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Adept in multi-tasking and prioritizing workload
• Ability to work independently and without supervision
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle confidential information
• Problem solving skills and detailed oriented

Education: Enrolled in an accounting, finance or business program at an accredited university or equivalent
