Position Overview
Candex is seeking an Accounts Receivable Associate to join our team. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to support our growth and expansion in multiple countries. You will be responsible for maintaining financial records and transactions, managing accounting software, invoices, and tax payments, overseeing bank reconciliations on a daily basis and cash disbursements. The position reports to the Treasury Operations Manager and will help support our payments across the globe.
The Role
- Review and manage financial discrepancies
- Handle communications with banks around the world, providing support
- Handle communications with customers around the world
- Recording and accepting payments from customers
- Reconciling reports to third-party records such as bank statements
- Work jointly with the business interfaces as part of ongoing work procedures and special projects
Qualifications
- +2 years Accounts Receivable experience
- Bookkeeping experience is a plus
- Experience working with global customers
- Familiarity with accounting softwares and and an advantage to proficiency in NetSuite and Microsoft Office
- Advantage - Familiarity with tax laws in various countries (VAT, WHT, etc.)
- Familiarity with a wide range of financial transactions including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Strong written communication skills
