Job Description
The Accounts Receivable Analyst will be responsible for recording accounting transactions in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, invoicing clients, applying payments, and following up with clients on delinquent accounts
Essential Functions:
- • Adherence to strict close deadlines for accounting
- • Ensures timely and accurate processing of customer invoices.
- • Reconciles bills, checks balances, follows up on discrepancies, and maintains customer communications.
- • Reviews billing contracts to ensure payments are received in accordance with terms.
- • Collections on past due items.
- • Work closely with Account Directors and Finance Team on billing.
- • Assists AR Supervisor with Cash application
Qualifications
- • Associate’s degree in business, finance, or accounting.
- • 3 to 5 years of experience performing accounting support activities.
- • Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must.
- • Experience using NetSuite, Coupa, and Concur accounting systems preferred.
- • Knowledge of accounts payable/vendor invoicing is a plus.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND COMPETENCIES
- Accounts Receivable Expertise – Strong understanding of AR processes, invoicing, collections, and financial reconciliation.
- Accounting Knowledge – Proficiency in GAAP, ASC 606, and tax compliance for accurate financial reporting.
- ERP & Software Proficiency – Experience with NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills – Ability to manage aging receivables, payment discrepancies, and cash flow forecasting.
- Communication & Negotiation – Strong interpersonal skills to maintain positive client relationships and improve collection rates.
- Detail-Oriented & Organized – Accuracy in processing payments, reconciling accounts, and tracking outstanding balances.
- Process Improvement & Efficiency – Identifies and implements strategies to streamline AR operations and reduce outstanding receivables.
- Collaboration & Teamwork – Works effectively with finance, sales, and operations teams to ensure smooth AR functions.
- Integrity & Compliance – Ensures adherence to internal controls, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Adaptability & Initiative – Proactively resolves issues, adapts to changing priorities, and drives continuous improvement
