ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support for the Area Finance Manger
Perform assigned accounting support functions including close process, analytics and AP expense tracking.
Monitoring credit approvals and SOX compliance
Assist with budget planning and forecasting
Establish and sustain effective communication and coordination between distribution center, Head Office and Shared Service Center personnel in researching, tracking, and resolving accounting, customer and vendor related issues.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Training: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Business a plus.
Related Experience: Must possess minimum of 4 years related accounting experience including General Ledger; foodservice distribution or similar distribution experience a plus.
- Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Requires in depth knowledge in computerized accounting techniques and of accounting principles. Strong organizational skills required. Must be detail oriented with ability to maintain accurate records. Must be proficient in computer applications including Microsoft Word and Outlook. Advanced Excel Skills with the ability to perform such functions including but not limited to creating spreadsheets, creating formulas, v look-ups, creating pivot tables, with a strong attention to detail and an analytical approach when working with data.

The following information is provided in accordance with certain state and local laws. Compensation depends on experience, geographic locations, and other factors permitted by law. In New York, the expected compensation for this role is between $18.63 and or $31.04.
This role is also eligible for overtime compensation.
