Job Description

Responsible for the preparation of various analytical and financial reports as well as monitoring and reviewing key aspects of the general ledger and financial statements to ensure accuracy and consistency of reports. Assist in the preparation of forecasts and budget reports. Ensure inventories are accurate and review monthly billings. Assist in the preparation of the daily managers’ reports through expense forecasting.

  • Prepare a variety of financial reports and period-end financial statements.
  • Ensure that expenses are appropriately classified.
  • Oversee the monthly inventory process and ensure that inventories are appropriately recorded.
  • Assist in the preparation of operating and capital budgets.
  • Prepare forecasts and track actual results against budget.
  • Prepare and distribute daily managers’ reports.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to operating and capital requisitions.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent work experience.
  • Two (2) years of accounting experience.
  • Demonstrated effective written communication skills.
  • Experience with various software applications, particularly MS Word and Excel.
  • Possess and maintain current knowledge of, and accurately apply generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
