How you’ll be impactful:
As an Accounting Manager, you will oversee the accounting function for multiple companies, including maintaining the general ledger, preparing monthly financial reports and account reconciliations. You will be the primary point of contact for understanding the revenue of one of the Business Units. The Accounting Manager reports to the Controller and will play a key role within our Finance team.
Please note: This role will be required to be in our SF office at minimum 2x/week (Tuesdays & Wednesdays)
What you’ll be doing:
- Responsible for GL accounting, including month-end entries related to cash equivalents, debt accounting, lease accounting, and accruals.
- Responsible for revenue and direct expenses recognition of one of the Business Units.
- Manage the close process, ensuring all general ledger reconciliation workpapers are accurate, and include adequate supporting documentation.
- Perform intercompany reconciliation and post the elimination journal entries.
- Collaborate with the engineering team and calculate internally developed software capitalization.
- Perform flux analysis on the respective balance sheet and P&L accounts.
- Work with the team to identify and create efficiencies in general accounting functions.
- Recommend proper accounting treatment and provide guidance related to new pronouncements or changes to the team.
What you’ll need to be successful:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, business or finance.
- 5+ years of accounting experience.
- Supervisory experience.
- Solid understanding of US GAAP, general accounting processes and internal controls, and financial analysis tools and techniques.
- Proficient in Excel formulas and pivot tables; and experience with top-tier ERP and related reporting applications.
- Advanced analytical problem-solving skills.
- Strong team player who works well in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Pay Transparency:
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $105,000-$115,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.
