Who You Are:
As an Accounting Manager at Curaleaf, you will play a vital role in leading financial operations for a fast-growing, publicly traded industry leader. This impactful position focuses on ensuring financial accuracy, maintaining regulatory compliance, and driving innovative process improvements that support Curaleaf's continued growth. We’re seeking a self-starter who takes initiative, identifies opportunities for improvement, and leads with confidence.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and streamline daily accounting operations, overseeing journal entries for cash management, fixed assets, prepaids, accruals, and intercompany transactions to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency
- Reconcile accounts and bank statements while analyzing general ledger and fixed asset activities
- Lead and support internal and external audits while ensuring SOX compliance and alignment with public company reporting standards
- Collaborate with the accounts receivable and accounts payable teams to proactively resolve customer and vendor management issues
- Prepare, review, and analyze internal financial reports to provide stakeholders with valuable insights that drive informed business decisions and support strategic growth
- Lead technical accounting projects and develop policies that strengthen internal controls and support scalable business growth
- Inspire, mentor, and lead the accounting team while fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on growth and excellence
What You’ll Bring:
- You bring 7+ years of accounting experience with expertise in general ledger management, reconciliations, and financial analysis
- You have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- You have extensive knowledge of accounting practices, ideally within a publicly traded company or similar dynamic environment
- You have advanced Excel skills (including V-lookups, pivot tables, and complex formulas), proficiency with ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics), and a strong understanding of GAAP, SOX compliance
- You bring strong analytical, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with a proven track record of thriving in fast-paced, team-driven environments
