MyTana/PRT is seeking an Accounting Manager in the St Paul, Minnesota manufacturing location. This position supports the Accounting organization in carrying out responsibilities that help meet the responsibilities and goals of the Company. The Accounting Supervisor will also serve as a as the backup for the Financial Manager.

Job Responsibilities

Supervise Accounts Payable, Payroll and Accounts Receivable. Audit liaison for all audits. Participates in and ensures SOX Section 404 compliance, including quarterly Segregation of Duties and IT control compliance. Review and approval of Expense reports in Sage, ensuring compliance with policy. Administrator for Expense processing. Administrator for Concur expense system, including weekly review / approvals, monthly accruals, liaison for employee adds / terms / changes. Credit card program administration. Preparation of monthly journal entries. Prepare monthly account reconciliations. Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, annual sales and use tax filings. Prepare, analyze and submit monthly financial data to IDEX via OneStream. Administrator for OneStream account reconciliation system. Prepare / analyze monthly, quarterly and year-end financial statements / reports. Assist with quarterly and year-end supplemental schedules as required, including quarterly balance sheet review, and annual Tax and Accounting packages. Assist in the preparation of the annual AOP. Backup for Accounts Payable. Backup for cash receipts, Intercompany transactions, Inventory and Fixed Assets. Backup for Financial Reporting Manager. Responsible for managing payroll process/accruals, Special projects as assigned – including system related projects, process improvement, departmental training. Year-end reporting and tax package.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Supervisory experience required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Sage, Great Plains, OneStream, and Smartview products is desired. 
• Strong Excel skills required.
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting is desired.
• Demonstrates a solid understanding of Sarbanes Oxley.
• Minimum of five years experience in all phases of Accounting.
• A proven track record relative to problem solving in an automated Accounting environment.
• Ability to meet accounting close / financial data submittal deadlines. 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment. 
• Timeliness and data correctness is required.
• Must have the ability to multi-task with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and with a team, providing leadership to the team.
