Job Overview

The Finance Manager for the Instrument Licensing and Services (ILS) business is responsible for a variety of finance/accounting activities within a global business unit. This role leads the month-end accounting close by reviewing actuals, analyzing variances, making required journal entries/accruals and performing reconciliations. The Manager also supports management reporting, monthly forecasting, annual budgeting and ad-hoc analysis for various stakeholders.

Essential Functions

• Responsible for month-end close of a recently acquired company in Microsoft Dynamics ERP and supporting day to day finance/sales operations needs
• Serve as a support for general financial planning and analysis for a global business unit
• Supports monthly forecasting and annual budget process, and analyzes monthly P&L results to identify key growth drivers and trends
• Assist with integration of acquired business with IQVIA ERP systems (SAP/Salesforce)
• Create and maintain financial ad-hoc analysis (especially for granular revenue) for business and finance leadership.
• Monitors and reports on areas of operational risk and/or opportunity.
• Review and perform month end activities by NOE. Record accruals and prepare reclass entries accordingly (including recharges to other BUs and software deferrals calcs).
• Analyze and maintain schedule of Prepaids by vendor and agree with GL monthly postings.
• Hygiene of SAP accounts and flow into Hyperion.
• Maintain Financial Reporting structure and Cost rates in EBX and PSA.
• Headcount forecasting and reporting – Workday info in Hyperion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree  Req
• 5 years’ experience in accounting/finance Req Or
• Equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Req
• Technical accounting skills.
• Knowledge of SAP Finance modules preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical and numeracy skills.
• Ability to identify financial issues, develop and execute mitigating actions.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong influencing skills
• Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple work requirements to meet deadlines.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $84,200.00 - $140,400.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
