Job Summary: 

The Manager, Cash & Accounts Receivable will be responsible for managing the day-to-day cash and Accounts Receivable application operations and ensuring a timely month-end close.


Job Expectations:

  • Manage the accounts receivable team in a proactive manner fostering communication within the team and with internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide training and be an inspirational leader to team members
  • Manage daily and monthly assignments such as month-end closing tasks and reconciliations
  • Review cash, debt, accruals, accounts receivable, and other receivables journal entry postings and reconciliations for month-end close
  • Review variance analysis for month-end close
  • Review and verify bank transactions for completeness and accuracy.
  • Review and verify accuracy and completeness of the cash and accounts receivable application  
  • Review and provide monthly aging reporting to Director of Accounts Receivable 
  • Work with technical resource team to identify, research and resolve mis-applied payments, cash application variances, aging inaccuracies, missing orders and any other issues that may arise 
  • Work with IT and Marketing to develop new payment sources for e-Commerce sales domestically and internationally
  • Support Treasury on debt deliverables
  • Proactively research and resolve problems encountered with a resolution
  • Report and keep Director of Accounts Receivable up to date on all relevant issues, escalating any issues as appropriate.
  • Optimize existing workflow by identifying process improvements and work with internal resources to automate any manual processes 
  • Support SOX compliance requirements and audit requests
  • Participate in any other accounts receivable or ad hoc finance projects
  • Assist in formulating policies and procedures within the Accounts Receivable department


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Required:         

  • Detail oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must have a sense of urgency with the ability to meet deadlines and analyze a high volume of receivable activities
  • Must be able to handle multiple priorities and effectively meet deadlines
  • Supervisory experience
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment


Equipment Knowledge

  • Experience with SAP 
  • Experience with SQL and Excel Macro is a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with Google Business Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms) 
  • Experience with Accounts Receivable required


Experience Requirements:

Generally requires a minimum of 5 years of accounts receivable management with a minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience. E-commerce experience is preferred.


Education Requirements: 

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required. CPA license is preferred.

The anticipated pay scale for this position can be found below, however the pay range applicable to you may vary by geographic location based on where the job is located or where you work.  The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry, education, etc.  iHerb, LLC is a multi-state employer and this pay scale may not reflect positions that work in other states or locations.

Hired applicant may be awarded Restrict Stock Units and receive annual bonuses pursuant to eligibility and performance criteria defined in the respective plan documents and policies.
