THE ROLE
The Accounting Coordinator, Billing provides administrative support to WittKieffer’s Accounting department. The incumbent will be a proactive team player with the ability to work independently. Keen attention to detail, accuracy and following established departmental processes are critical to success in the role. The ability to meet deadlines is essential. The Accounting Coordinator, Billing supports global accounts receivable activities including collections, as well as some functions within the accounts payable area.
Work will be conducted in a hybrid environment, averaging two workdays per week in the office. This position offers a base salary of $60,000 to $70,000, plus a target bonus of 5% of base salary. Salary within our ranges is determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as required by the role, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. RESPONSIBILITIES

Generate, review, and distribute client invoices including expense documentation.

Handle client inquiries regarding invoices and statements of account.

Communicate directly with clients as part of collection efforts.

Prepare, post, verify, and record customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable.

Input data pertaining to search projects, with primary emphasis on opening and closing engagements, and scheduling billing dates.

Work with consulting and administrative support staff to obtain the necessary signed fee letters and/or proposals.

Assist with ensuring all billable expenses are billed to clients.

Support the Accounting team during monthly and annual closes to ensure proper billing cutoffs and assist where needed.

Document and maintain updated procedures.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
Qualifications:
-
Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or HS diploma with experience.

Three to five years of accounts receivable/billing experience or accounting related experience required.

Prior experience in Workday preferred.

Experience with billing and collections in foreign currencies a plus.

Strong user of Excel, Word, Outlook, Internet searches, and database systems.

Work Environment:
