Accounting Coordinator

The AP Accounting Specialist with LightEdge will provide courteous and professional support to the accounting team, LightEdge employees, vendors and customers. This position will mainly deal with accounts payable duties. The ideal person for this role should have a general background in accounting responsibilities as well as AP experience and a willingness to jump in and assist with projects as needed.

The Gig:

• Accounting (may include any of the following)




• Review and code vendor invoices
• Review employee credit cards for completeness and adherence to expense policies
• Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions
• Ensure new vendor setup
• Maintain accounting ledgers through monthly reconciliations
• Maintain prepaid schedule and accrued expense
• Review COGs and G&A expense each month
• Other duties as assigned
• Represent LightEdge in a positive manner in all interactions with customers, vendors and employees.

What you need to make the cut:

• 2-4 Year Accounting Degree
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills
• Basic accounting knowledge and journal entry skills
• Basic analytical/decision-making skills
• Proficient planning/organizational skills
• Knowledge of computer operations, including all Office software and knowledge of NetSuite, Coupa, and Concur is a plus
• Proficient skills in Microsoft Excel is required
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, adjusting priorities accordingly
• Able to maintain professional demeanor under stress
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
