Job Description

Position: Accounting Controller & R2R Senior Manager

Location: Katowice, Poland

Job Type: Full-Time

About Us: Rockwell Automation is a leading Industry Manufacture company committed to excellence and innovation. We are currently undergoing a significant finance transformation and are looking for a seasoned Senior Manager to lead our Records to Report (R2R) team.

Role Summary: As the Senior Manager of R2R, you will not only oversee the R2R process but also champion digital enablement activities that drive efficiency and innovation in financial reporting. You will be instrumental in our finance transformation journey, leveraging cutting-edge technology to revolutionize our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the R2R team, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements. 

  • Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements. 

  • Lead controllership activities, including the establishment and maintenance of balance sheet and P&L reviews, internal controls, risk management, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. 

  • Oversee the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and financial reports. 

  • Drive the standardization and automation of R2R processes to enhance efficiency. 

  • Champion digital enablement by identifying and implementing digital solutions such as AI, machine learning, and RPA to optimize financial processes. 

  • Collaborate with IT and finance transformation teams to ensure successful integration of digital technologies. 

  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on financial data analysis and digital trends. 

  • Act as a key liaison between finance and other departments, ensuring clear communication and alignment on financial matters. 

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the R2R team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 

  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, CMA, ACCA). 

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in finance, with a strong focus on R2R processes and digital transformation. 

  • Proven experience in leading digital enablement initiatives within finance. 

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and internal controls. 

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills. 

  • Proficiency in ERP systems, financial software, and digital technologies. 

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
