Based in Toronto and operating across North America, FundThrough’s AI-powered invoice funding platform gives B2B businesses fast, customized funding offers to get their invoices paid in a few days – rather than a few months – and get quick access to cash they’ve already earned.
- You have a degree or diploma, preferably in accounting.
- You have 0-2 years of experience in a fast paced and team-based environment, experience on a finance/accounting team would be a bonus.
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and enjoy collaborating with different teams.
- You are comfortable with completing repetitive tasks.
- You pay great attention to detail and accuracy and are highly organized and reliable.
- You are familiar with Excel and/or Google Sheets and are skilled at and naturally interested in learning new software, i.e. FundThrough operating systems.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare daily bank reconciliations identifying issues and errors, investigating and resolving discrepancies in transactions
- Liaise between the finance and cash applications team where needed
- Post journal entries
- Produce other statistical and accounting reports for both internal and external stakeholders
- Perform balance sheet account reconciliations, investigating and resolving any differences
- Provide trend analysis commentary for identified accounts as part of the month end financials close
- Assist with annual financial statements audit and any other tasks on an ad-hoc basis
