Title: Accounting AnalystAbout this Job
We are in the search for an accounting analyst to join our team. The role involves managing routine accounting tasks in addition to reporting directly to our Head of Accounting. This individual will focus primarily on processing accounts payable transactions, bookkeeping, commission tracking, and data analysis & validation.
Objectives of this Role
- Maintaining accurate accounting records
- Balancing routine tasks with analytical duties
- Support the accounting team by achieving goals and completing related tasks
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable:
- Onboarding vendors
- Entering invoices
- Collecting and tracking vendor contracts
- Sales Agent Commissions Payable:
- Calculating sales agent commissions
- Verifying commissions data and making adjustments to commissions
- Credit Card Payable:
- Collecting documentation
- Reviewing and approving credit card transactions
- Preparing credit card reconciliations
- Month End Close
- Entering bank and credit card transactions
- Making payroll journal entries
- Reconciling bank and credit card accounts
- Analyzing variances
