This position is accountable for performing basic to intermediate analysis, monitoring and reporting of Financial, Billing & Accounts Receivable data.
Responsibilities:

Performs analysis, maintenance and issue resolution of Advance Deposits.

Performs an invoice review of complex billings to ensure that billings adhere to contractual specifications.

Assist internal and external auditors with annual financial, operational, and procedural audits. Accountable for providing appropriate data in order to assess the accuracy of data reported in financial statements.

Provide analytical support and validate payments received. Investigate and resolve payment allocation issues.

Create and maintain aging reports and identify action plans.

Prepare claim reconciliations for 90 day balances.

Interfaces with other divisions including Finance, Underwriting, Actuarial, Treasury, and MBU.

Performs other assignments as required by Management.
Education/Experience:

High School Diploma/GED required.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred

Requires a minimum of two to years of General Accounting and/or Billing/Accounts Receivable experience or related business experience to be determined at interview.
Knowledge:

Requires knowledge of (GAAP) General Accepted Accounting Principles.

Requires intermediate knowledge of personal computers and supporting windows based environment including MS Access, Excel, and Word.

Salary Range:
$55,400 - $74,130
This compensation range is specific to the job level and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. This range has been created in good faith based on information known to Horizon at the time of posting. Compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each case.
