Summary
The Maintenance Accounting Admin I assists in the completion of the day-to-day operations for the Maintenance Payables team within the Corporate Accounting Department and facilitates communication between vendors and the company. They assist in creating a positive team environment and be a responsible, dependable employee. This position requires the highest level of professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity.

Minimum Requirements
Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a Criminal Background Check.
Education: High School Diploma/GED
Years of Experience: Minimum one (1) year of experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
Valid/Unexpired Passport Book: No
Valid/Unexpired Driver's License: No
•Basic computer knowledge.
•Attention to detail is essential.

•Microsoft Excel proficiency.
Job Duties
•Process inventory and maintenance related payables or receivables, mainly in the Trax eMRO system but also in Ariba and SAP in accordance with the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) using data entry.
•Work with all areas of the organization to ensure proper coding and handling of invoices.
•Ensure proper documentation and verify approval/authorization limits.
•Review and approve cash disbursements prior to weekly check runs.
•Gather vendor W9 information for new vendor and 1099 processing.
•Work with vendors to resolve discrepancies and any other issues that may arise.
•Assist fixed assets team with supporting account reconciliations as needed.
•Cash application and reconciliation.
•Assist Fixed Assets team with support for general ledger posting journal entries and month end close as needed.
•Gather vendor information for 1099 processing.
•Maintain files, including filing of general ledger journal vouchers, accounts payable/receivable documentation, and other miscellaneous filings.
•Answer and direct incoming emails appropriately.
•Model Allegiant’s customer service standards in personal actions and when providing direction.
•Other duties as assigned.

Office - While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, key board, printer, and phone. May be required to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 20 lbs. May be required to work various shifts/days in a 24-hour situation. Regular attendance is a requirement of the role. Exposure to moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones, printers, and foot traffic), temperature and light fluctuations. Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Some travel may be a requirement of the role.
