WHAT WILL YOU DO:
- Processing of general ledger and fixed asset accounting according to US GAAP
- Recording and reviewing journal entries for various transactions, including accruals, prepayments, expense allocations, etc,
- Monitoring and review of GL transactions and balances, identifying and resolving discrepancies and other issues
- Participate in Revenue recognition process according to US GAAP rules
- Performing Intercompany reconciliations and confirmations
- Maintaining GL accounts reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP accounting standards
- Completion of the quarterly reporting packages
- Assistance in preparation of reports and financial statements
- Proactive participation in system and process related improvement projects
- Assistance in implementation of internal controls required within the scope of duties
WHAT WILL YOU NEED:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2+ years accounting experience in General Accounting (GL, Intercompany, Fixed Assets, Accruals, etc)
- Confident mastery of MS Office applications, common ERP systems (e. g. SAP, OPTIMA) and controlling tools (such as BPC, BO, Power BI, Cadency)
- Fluency in spoken and written English (German would be an advantage) and Polish
- A structured and conscientious way of working, good communication and planning skills as well as a strong team spirit and a high degree of reliability
- Experience in US GAAP / international environment would be an advantage
