BizLibrary is looking to add an Accountant to our team!

Our Accounting team works in-office one day per week - because of this, we are looking for someone local to St. Louis, MO.
Responsibilities
- Perform monthly close activities including bank reconciliations, journal entries, GAAP entries, commissions/bonus and royalty calculations
- Manage month-, quarter- and year-end close in timely and accurate manner
- Ensure sales tax compliance
- Assist with annual audits
- Cross-train and develop knowledge of Salesforce.com bookings procedures to serve as technical resource to client-facing teams
- Assist Accounting Clerk with day-to-day as necessary, serving as backup
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3-5 years of experience in accounting
- Experience in public accounting and/or in a SaaS accounting environment is a plus, but not required.
- Understanding of GAAP
- Comfortable with revenue recognition, and the financial close process
- Experience with Sage Intacct and SalesForce (preferred, but not required)
- Expert in MS Excel; proficient in Word and PowerPoint
- Ability to organize resources and establish priorities
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Strong work ethic and sense of urgency
