Job Description:
This position safeguards Intermountain Healthcare's assets through monthly accounting operations and internal controls, and ensures accurate and compliant financial reporting.
This position may provide support to a facility, region, or division, or work as part of a system-wide team. Requires no supervision for routine tasks. Management oversight is generally limited to task review and complicated problems.
- Understands and explains all aspects of the accounting process.
- Performs routine and non-routine accounting tasks requiring in-depth analysis.
- Acts as an accounting technical resource to others.
- Understands and explains the interrelationship of accounting with non-finance areas of the company.
- Provides expertise in applying generally accepted accounting principles to all phases of accounting operations.
- May act as a mentor to other members of accounting services.
- Responsible for in-depth analysis and critical accounting entries during the month-end close and financial statement review. May have responsibility for the month-end close of a business unit.
- May have responsibility for training, coordinating, and reviewing work of others.
- May be a project lead or perform supervisory duties.
- Assists in the preparation of audit schedules.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, with four years of professional accounting experience - OR - Master's degree with two years of experience. (Master of Business Administration or Master of Accountancy). Degree must be obtained through an accredited institution. Education is verified.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$32.77 - $51.61
