Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc, a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented Accountant III based at our Greenville, NC location. 

 

What you will do: 

  • Customer Invoicing & Accounts Payable: Manage invoicing across business channels, oversee the Accounts Payable Help Desk, resolve supplier inquiries, and ensure accurate disbursements. 

  • Financial Management: Administer expense management systems, and expense allocation. 

  • Reconciliation & Reporting: Perform supplier statement reconciliations, analyze duplicate payments, reconcile balance sheets, and develop monthly financial reports. 

  • Process Improvement & IT Collaboration: Identify efficiency improvements, evaluate metrics, and work closely with IT to resolve system-related issues affecting invoicing and financial operations.

  • An effective communicator who can collaborate across departments and resolve financial discrepancies. 

  • A proactive team player who takes initiative and contributes to process improvements. 

  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities efficiently. 

 

What you will need: 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred. A BS degree is required with no experience, or a 2-year degree with 7 years of experience, or a high school diploma with 10 years of experience. 

  • Experience: Relevant accounting and financial operations experience based on education level. 

 

Skills, Experience & Abilities       

  • Strong working knowledge of accounting processes and financial reporting. 

  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage projects and mentor team members. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders. 

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. 

  • Ability to work with financial and tax software systems (SAP, Concur, SRM, PRMS, NOMS, PDC, etc.). 

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to problem solve.
