Accountant II

The Accountant II supports the implementation, standardization and optimization of the accounting processes within the corporate accounting and finance organization. He/she supports the periodic accounting close process and applies relevant reporting requirements; He/she is involved in developing and maintaining accounting policies and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and is responsible for the subsidiary operational accounting and internal controls compliance.

A Day in the Life of the Accountant:

• Responsible for execution of daily operational accounting, including revenue recognition, accounts receivable, expenses, accounts payable and general accounting;

• Supports the execution of month-end/quarter-end/year-end close process under US GAAP and statutory requirements;

• Responsible for the preparation and booking of journal entries;

• Responsible for the bank transfers and ensure in advance the approval of the expenses, included in the payment runs;

• Responsible for the preparation and review of account reconciliations, and ensure account balances are properly supported;

• Supports accurate and timely financial reporting and submission of financial package to US parent company;

• Closely interacts with Corporate accounting and finance as well as other department leaders;

• Involved in the implementation and maintenance of formalized internal control structure to ensure a successful outcome of internal controls testing and related audit opinion;

• Supports the implementation of any accounting system or other and upgrades;

• Supports Senior Manager Accounting with different reports – internal and external when needed.

Required Qualifications - About you:

We are looking for candidates who possess the rare combination of the following achievements, skills and behaviors:

• Minimum 3 year of accounting experience;

• Experience working in a multi-national, public company is strongly preferred;

• Detail oriented, committed to high quality and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, changing environment;

• Competence to balance multiple concurrent priorities;

• Team player;

• Аdaptable and flexible with changes.

• B.A. or B.S. in Finance or Accounting.

• Experience with US GAAP and IFRS;

• Experience with tax legislation and its application together with accounting standards;

• Leveraging financial software packages used in the production of trial balances and related rеporting requirements;

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite;

• Experience with ERP system is a plus;

• Fluent English, both spoken and written.
