Job Description Summary

This position leads and manages the strategic sourcing, contract administration, vendor relationship management and overall operations for all Procurement activities across the portfolio of sites on a client account. This position is highly visible within internal & external stakeholders and will be client-facing.

About the Role:

  • Procurement Relationship Management: Oversee interactions with clients, account teams, vendors, and corporate stakeholders to ensure smooth procurement operations.
  • Strategic Implementation: Develop and execute programs to meet goals, metrics, and KPIs, while continuously identifying and leveraging opportunities for value creation.
  • Contract and Vendor Management: Interpret contracts, negotiate terms, and ensure proper records retention, while advising management on contractual matters and resolving supplier performance issues.
  • Tracking and Reporting: Establish and maintain systems for tracking and reporting procurement activities, ensuring compliance and organized record-keeping.
  • Best Practices and Personnel Management: Apply best practices, policies, and tools, manage personnel, and participate in meetings to maintain good business practices and achieve procurement objectives.

About You:

  • Educational Background: Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business or related field; MBA or related Master's degree is preferred.
  • Experience: At least 7 years in Procurement/Strategic Sourcing, preferably in facility services or related areas.
  • Skills and Proficiency: Proficient in Strategic Sourcing processes and e-tools (e-RFPs, reverse auctions, e-catalogs, contract management systems).
  • Legal and Analytical Skills: Must have legal knowledge for preparing and negotiating agreements, and strong analytical skills for interpreting data and documentation.
  • Communication and Management: Effective communication with all management levels, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks.
