The CWS Account Manager serves as the primary liaison between clients and staffing suppliers while facilitating CAI’s Contingent Workforce Solutions (CWS) programs. Based in the Boise, Idaho area, this role provides comprehensive contingent labor management support under CAI’s managed service provider (MSP) contract(s).

Job Description

We are looking for a CWS Account Manager to serve as the primary liaison between clients and staffing suppliers while facilitating CAI’s Contingent Workforce Solutions (CWS) programs. This position will be full-time and hybrid in Boise, ID.

What You'll Do

  • Serving as the primary contact for client interaction, engagement and business development efforts, facilitating the contingent labor job posting lifecycle, which includes screening and shortlisting candidates per client-provided criteria, fostering supplier relationships, overseeing engagement management, and ensuring smooth and compliant onboarding processes

  • The Account Manager also works closely with suppliers to resolve resource issues, ensures ongoing contractual compliance, and address inquiries

  • This role primarily facilitates the placement of IT contingent labor, ensuring alignment with client objectives

  • Interact and communicate directly with Client Hiring Managers via phone, email, MS Teams/Zoom, and in person meetings to understand the client's business initiatives, build relationships, gather and qualify job posting details including candidate qualifications and experience requirements, address client contingent labor and reporting needs, and identifying cost-savings opportunities

  • Responsible for candidate screening and shortlisting, interview coordination, and contractor onboarding compliance oversight

  • Facilitate all procurement activities throughout SOW lifecycle (pre-bid calls, vendor Q&A, vendor orals, negotiations, on-boarding tasks, etc.)

  • Manage to contractual service level agreements (SLAs)

  • Provide VMS (Vendor Management System) training and assistance when needed to the client and/or Suppliers

  • Provide supplier response management, training, and performance oversight services

  • Communicate effectively to all levels of management

  • Responsible for supporting business development initiatives across assigned MSP programs in other states

  • Resolve issues in a timely manner

What You'll Need

Required:

  • Reside in the Boise, Idaho area

  • 3+ years of successful recent IT Staffing and/or contract/vendor management experience

  • Knowledge and technical understanding to comprehend and qualify client job postings

  • Possess the drive and experience needed to directly interface with client staff and Sr. leadership

  • Professional, self-starter with strong work ethic and ability to work independently

  • Must have a high sense of urgency with the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to develop and foster client relationships while meeting and exceeding service level agreements (SLAs) and deadlines

  • Maintain the respect of the client's culture, environment, facilities, policies and their employees

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred:

  • 5+ years of experience serving Public Sector organizations (preferably state government)

  • Business Development/Account Management experience

  • Prior MSP/VMS Contract Management experience

  • Previous experience using VectorVMS/Peoplefluent, or another VMS tool

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
