About the Role

As a Account Manager Team Lead, you will manage 1-2 key accounts and lead a team of 2-3 members. Your primary responsibility will be to transition the sales approach from Sales Representative to Account Manager. This involves fostering and deepening client relationships to establish our company as a major brand among partners in the consumer electronics industry, including electric retailers and wholesalers.

What You Will Do

  • Expand and deepen relationships with existing partners (retailers and wholesalers) by continuously proposing solutions that address their requirements and pain points, while suggesting innovative strategies to increase sales and create win-win situations through effective account management processes
  • Undertake all key sales activities to effectively manage assigned sales and lead the team towards achieving targets
  • Developing, managing & driving implementation of a comprehensive account plan
  • Take responsibility for achieving sales and others such as financial and non-financial targets
  • Ensure the timely delivery of correct products and services to customers
  • Develop and manage sales budget
  • Deepen relationships with partners through key account management
  • Lead and Coach the team members as a hands-on team leader
  • Attract, train, develop, and retain team talent who understand Harman's values, appreciate Harman products, are eager to enhance the Harman brand, and work as a team, while continuously improving work processes

What You Need

  • Strong skills in sales, trade marketing, and business strategy
  • Proven experience as a key account manager (not sales representative)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all organizational levels
  • Ability to plan and manage sales programs at both strategic and operational levels
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies that meet or exceed objectives, providing leadership by example.
  • Collaborative team player who works well with colleagues and staff to create a results-driven, team-oriented environment.
  • Willingness to support team members and stakeholders, and occasionally assist each other to improve situations.
  • Self-starter with a proactive attitude and a spirit of challenge.
  • Honest, eager to learn, and able to listen to others

What is Nice to Have

  • Experience in back-office related roles such as trade marketing for sales planning, analyzing the market, forecasting and supporting merchandising in store front
  • Experience working as an Account Manager in E-commerce 
  • Business-level English

What Makes You Eligible

  • Be willing to travel up to 20%, domestic only
  • Be willing to work in an office on Tuesday and Thursday at minimum.
  • Successfully complete a background investigation/Aptitude Test as a condition of employment.
