Position Overview/Job Summary:
As a Sales Associate, your primary focus will be selling physical damage policies to prospects, guiding them through the application process, and providing expert insights on our products. You will play a key role in executing our sales strategy, building strong customer relationships, and contributing to our overall growth. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, results-oriented, and dedicated to delivering an exceptional experience to each customer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with potential customers to understand their needs and determine if they are a good fit for this program.

  • Educate customers on the benefits of physical damage policies, explain coverage options, and provide solutions based on the customer needs.

  • Guide customers through the application process, ensuring all required information is collected and the policy is tailored to their specific needs.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, offering exceptional service and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

  • Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide solutions to ensure a smooth purchasing experience.

  • Accurately record customer interactions, sales, and feedback into EPIC to track progress and performance.

Qualifications:

  • Active Property and Casualty License Required

  • Previous experience in sales or customer service, preferably in physical damage insurance coverage.

  • Strong understanding of insurance products, specifically physical damage policies.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.

  • Ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing environments, and stay up-to-date with industry trends and product offerings.

  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic, a goal-oriented mindset and customer-first attitude.

Work Environment:

  • This is a remote position, with the flexibility to work from home.

  • Full-time position with standard business hours.

Compensation:

Disclosure required under applicable state or municipality regulations: The expected salary range for this position is $60,000-$70,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include health/dental/vision/life/disability insurance, FSA, HSA and 401(k) accounts, paid-time-off benefits, and eligible bonuses, equity and commissions for some positions.
