 Account Manager II

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Sales & Operation Activity - Analyze daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly requirements
  • Promote LGE Smart technologies and products to customers to receive RFx and/or influence RFx release
  • Actively engage with core teams across multiple regions to ensure alignment on strategic objectives and operational goals.
  • Customize pre-marketing tools by customer’s requirement and interest
  • Negotiate all commercial terms including quote (unit price, tooling, ED&T) at all stages of a program
  • Work on RFx response activities (reviewing / confirming / submitting to customers)
  • Suggest product modifications to assure that current and future products meet customers’ needs
  • Work with customers to carry over products to other programs and prepare next gen products & technology
  • Review / negotiate terms and conditions with HQ team
  • Understand the customer packaging requirements, labeling and process
  • Network with customers and key suppliers to gather OEM's insight information and tech trends
  • Attend OESA/OEs town hall events to build network
  • Supplier Portal Management Administrator
  • Expertise in strategic planning and account management
  • Support development of comprehensive Customer Account Strategy plans that result in profitable and sustainable growth
  • Build on customer relationships to ensure successful renewals and identify future sales opportunities and coach global account team members to do the same
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills required
  • Understands all products responsible for including form, fit, and function and benchmarks to the competition
  • Understand Account Receivable process
  • Process Approval for all Credit & Debit requests
  • Manage Account Accruals to accurately communicate Revenue

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 7+ years of experience
  • Tier 1 or OEM automotive industry experience
  • Ability to travel (International & Domestic)
  • Ability to work early/late hours for business meetings

Preferred:

  • MBA
  • Bilingual (English & Korean)
