About The Opportunity
The Account Manager - Partnerships and Hospitality is a strategic leader responsible for cultivating long-term relationships with partners and driving their success on our platform. This role combines thought leadership, proactive problem-solving, and mentoring of junior team members to deliver measurable outcomes for both partners and the organization.
The Impact You Will Make
- Partner Management:
- Manage the day-to-day partner relationships, ensuring their needs are addressed and satisfaction with our services is maintained.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned partners, offering timely and effective support.
- Strategy Support:
- Collaborate with Senior Client Success Managers to learn about partner objectives and assist in developing strategies to meet those goals.
- Identify opportunities for partner growth and improvement, working with senior team members to implement these strategies.
- Onboarding and Engagement:
- Assist with onboarding new partners, ensuring a smooth transition and alignment with our platform's capabilities.
- Participate in testing and refining growth initiatives, tracking results, and providing feedback to improve the partner experience.
- Client Monitoring and Feedback:
- Monitor client health metrics to proactively identify issues or concerns and collaborate with internal teams for resolution.
- Collect and document partner feedback to inform the development of new features or services.
- Internal Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (Sales, Product, Marketing) to ensure partners receive optimal support and resources.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and progress in client management systems.
What You Bring to the Table
- Bachelor's Degree preferred or highschool diploma/GED + years of experience
- 3-5 years experience in working with strategic accounts in a sales, marketing or account management capacity
- Strong organizational skills
- You thrive in a rapidly changing environment
- Excellent communication skills. Good listener, capable of comprehending client issues and translating them into an appropriate solution.
- Proven ability to work across many departments to solve problems and achieve results
- Strong computer skills (MS Office, Google products) with the ability to quickly learn new software. Experience with Salesforce and JIRA a plus
- Strong problem solving skills and comfortable analyzing and articulating data
- Thinking like an owner- being proactive rather than reactive when it comes to account health

We reward our Sales positions with competitive pay. For this role, we offer commission with a base salary range as outlined below, based on factors including geographic location.
New York: $74,000 - $112,000 ($91,000 - $135,000 OTE range)
Illinois: $66,000 - $99,000 ($82,500 - $123,500 OTE range)
Grubhub uses geographic-specific salary structures, which means the salary offered may vary depending on where the job is located. The final salary offer will take into account various factors, such as the candidate's skills, education, training, credentials, and experience.
