We’re looking for an Account Executive who’s ready to be part of this journey from the ground up. This isn’t just another sales role. Your impact

  • Own the Outcome: Build, manage, and convert a high-quality pipeline into long-term customer relationships. You’ll drive the full sales cycle, from lead gen to close.
  • Craft the Story: Work closely with Marketing and Product to refine our messaging and shape a powerful, differentiated go-to-market approach.
  • Champion the Customer: Act as the trusted voice between Tractable and our customers, bringing frontline insights back to internal teams.
  • Lead by Example: Help foster a sales culture rooted in curiosity, speed, and high performance.
  • Build What’s Next: Improve our sales processes as we scale, driving exponential, not incremental, impact.

What you'll need to be successful

Pipeline & Closing

  • 3+ years of experience as an individual contributor in B2B or B2B2C sales, ideally within tech or AI startups
  • Proven success in cold outbound and self-sourced pipeline generation
  • Track record of consistently exceeding quota in a high-velocity environment

Leadership & Communication

  • Excellent verbal and written communicator and storyteller
  • Familiarity with sales tools and automation platforms (especially AI-powered ones)
  • A natural future leader with ambition to manage and develop a team

Entrepreneurial & Curious

  • You’re a builder who thrives in ambiguity and loves the grind
  • Curious by nature and obsessed with learning
  • Comfortable moving fast, iterating, and learning on the fly

  • Base salary of $100-115k, with the potential for OTE to reach $200-230k or higher
